3rd Meeting at Dance Massive (Melbourne, Australia) MAR 2019
After a sharing from individual Core Group members on developments in dance, events, and discussions in their respective local contexts, the meeting focused on clarifying AND+'s involvement in Performing Arts Meeting (TPAM) in Yokohama, Japan. In the discussion, the members identified a key topic for the network to explore and develop, an international code of best practices, as it encapsulates nuanced and specific power relations within dancemaking processes which need to be investigated and de-normalised. After planning for the next meeting taking place in Singapore and Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, the Core Group also spent time to reflect on previous meetings' methods of facilitation and documentation.
